Recently Jared went to a customers home to grind a stump and when he pulled in the driveway he noticed
there were more children running around the backyard than the Baxter household - for those of u who don't
know.... Jared is the oldest of 13 kids..

At this point he talked to the mother and told her that the kids need to be inside or out of his way - away from the stump-grinder. So he starts working & then the next thing he knows... The whole side yard is filled up with kids watching him work. Where's mom at? Inside the house enjoying her time away from babysitting the kids. We are here for that mom that needs to have her children entertained so she can catch her breath!

Last year in the United States more than 44,000 home owners were injured or killed using chainsaws. In an endeavor to save money they instead cost the insurance company billions of dollars in medical bills not to mention the tears from their wives. So this weekend, when your uncle Mike pulls out the chainsaw to attempt to take down a tree, please tell him how much you love him and that you don't want to see him in the hospital. Leave the tree work to the experts at JB Landscape services.

Now as the month of May approaches and the weather begins to get warm, we will no longer be able to trim oak trees until November when we get cooler weather. The reason for this is to prevent the spread of Oak Wilt.

Oak Wilt is a disease that is spreading through the Midwest at a rapid rate primarily spread by tree services who do not care about protecting the environment and sap beetles. While we cannot control this spread via the sap beetles, we can prevent the spread of it through proper education, careful practices, disinfecting saws and proper disposal procedures of contaminated wood. My ask is for your Aunt Shirley who has oak trees and would like an evaluation...

How often during winter do you wish that you had someone reliable plowing your snow? I have heard story after story about companies and store fronts not being satisfied with their snow removal service. The problem is, any idiot can put a plow on his truck and call himself a “snow plow company”. Unfortunately this does not mean he knows what he is doing nor does it mean that he will even show up half the time. Sure, he might have given you a price substantially lower than the competition, but let me tell you something that you have surely heard before: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

JB Landscape Services is a company that will not let you down. We have a track record and multiple testimonials to prove it. Our first priority is taking care of our customers. We will go out of our way to make sure that you are satisfied.

Snow is a tricky business and every job brings different challenges. There is no job too big or too small. We have a fleet of trucks on the job at all times while the snow is falling. Don't have a place to put your snow? No problem. We'll haul it away. Need your lot or specific areas salted? We got you covered.

One of the services we provide is blowing out your irrigation system or as we refer to it, winterization of your irrigation system.

Here's what we do...
1. First we turn off the water! We also mark the valve with a tag on the valve indicating it's for the irrigation system.
2. Next we manually drain the system (as much as we can). This alleviates the pressure in the system and gives us a head start on the winterizing process.
3. Once the pressure has been bled from the system and the water has drained down a little, we hook up our air compressor and blow out the remaining water.

What sets us apart from our competition is the size of the air compressor we use to do the work. Why does it matter what size air compressor we use? The one that is typically used might be anywhere between 15 to 20 cfm of air. Our machine runs 185 cfm of air. The larger compressor allows a higher volume of air to be blown through the pipelines. The more air that is forced through the pipelines, the drier the lines get -- this allows all the moisture to escape rather than just removing the standing water and dries the air lines out. This means less possibilities of freezing or breaking in your system over the winter. If you want your job done professionally by professionals use JB Landscape Services!

what people say

  • I met Jared at a Business Network International meeting. Every person I spoke with recommended JB Landscape Services for their professionalism, dependability, honesty, and integrity.

I asked for a load of seasoned hardwood cut in 16" lengths. Forty-eight hours later we had a full cord and a short bit more. It appeared to be a mixture of oak, birch, and hickory. None of it appeared to be green. We have burned three fires and each one has been perfect--easy to start--and each burned to complete ash.

I understand that they have since begun focusing their business solely on the tree service side of landscaping as Get-R-Cut.com. There is every reason to believe that this is the perfect realignment.

At least from this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this family owned business.

    Thanks Baxter's. You're great!
