Tree removal and tree pruning (any tree work really) can be incredibly dangerous, even for professional arborists. There are many "do-it-your-selfers" who attempt to do their own tree work. Sometimes they are successful at this and other times it is catastrophic.
As stated on the TCIA website, "In 2015 alone, the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) recorded 58 serious civilian tree care accidents, 34 of which were fatal. Six of these victims were under the age of 13, and were innocent bystanders to the misguided actions of adults".
Please do not attempt to do tree work if you are not trained or equipped to do so. Safety is very important while doing tree work and many times people take shortcuts and safety is not on their radar. Those "do-it-your-selfers" generally try to save money and do it their-self. Please leave the tree work to the professional arborists. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office.
